Wikia's Fantasy Food Truck at New York Comic Con 2014
Back in August when we began the Wikia Battle of the Fantasy Foods bracket tournament, we promised that we’d take the Final Four foods and serve them live from a New York Comic Con food truck. This past weekend, we delivered on that promise!
Behold - the Wikia Fantasy Food Truck!
We drove this beautifully wrapped truck onto the floor of the Javits Center in New York City, and served these tasty fantasy treats to the crowd: Gravity Falls’ Smile Dip, Fallout’s Nuka Cola, Adventure Time’s Bacon Pancakes, and Waframe’s Greedy Milk. We added one bonus item - the Fantasia Meat the Band-wich - in honor of Disney’s Fantasia game being demoed at our truck.

So it is Friday night and that means another day gone by and Saturday is going to be that most chaotic of the days since that is the day that it is expected to have the highest turnout based on trends in past conventions. I hope to see lost of new and amazing cosplayers on the floor and hope to take their pictures to relay their awesomeness.

MegaBot to appear at New York Comic Con
Somerville’s Artisan’s Asylum plans to invade New York Comic Con with their latest creation: MegaBot.
The thirteen foot tall battle-bot is making its first public appearance at the 'con, and while shipping restrictions limited it to "just" 13 feet - the finished product aims to be even taller. In its current form, the 'bot is capable of firing a variety of giant paintball-like munitions up to 100 yards at around 120mph, but its engineers have big plans after their first public showing.
A Kickstarter campaign is in the works, the success of which would mean more MegaBots, and MegaBot battles in the future. Who doesn't want MegaBot battles??

Marvel Reveals Daredevil Logo For Upcoming Netflix Series
As anticipation builds for New York Comic Con, Marvel has unveiled the logo for the new Netfilx series "Daredevil" - as well as a partial cast list. Series leads Charlie Cox (Boardwalk Empire) and Debroah Ann Woll (True Blood) will be in attendance at this year's 'con, along with co-stars Vincent D'Onofrio who portrays Wilson Fisk, and Elden Henson who portrays Foggy Nelson.
On Saturday, October 11 from 3:45-4:45pm at booth #1354 (the marvel booth), the cast will be signing an exclusive concept art poster, illustrated by Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada. Marvel Puzzle Quest to Debut Female Thor
Marvel fans heard the announcement a while back that a female Thor would be debuting, but it looks like we'll get our first look at the goddess in the Marvel Puzzle Quest game! According to GamenGuide, "Marvel Puzzle Quest, the Bejeweled-style gem-displacing game featuring all your favorite Marvel heroes, is bringing Thor to the game." Players can test her skills out starting October 17! This one-year anniversary bonus character will be a legendary (four star) character reward for Season VII, and Devil Dinosaur will also be joining the game.

Walt Disney Studios to present at 2014 New York Comic Con
Exciting news, Disney fans, especially those of you going to the 2014 New York Comic Con!! Walt Disney Studios is going to the 2014 New York Comic Con on Thursday, October 9th for a presentation! Walt Disney Animation Studios will be presenting an exclusive look at Big Hero 6 with directors Don Hall and Chris Williams, producer Roy Conli, and special guests.
But wait, there's more! Walt Disney Studios will also present an exclusive look at Tomorrowland with director Brad Bird, producer Damon Lindelof, and special guests. It hasn't been revealed yet who any of these "special guests" will be, but we can't wait for the exclusive looks at the upcoming projects! So are you going to NYCC? Fan-Designed Zombie Survival Machine from Hyundai Debuts at NYCC 2013
Hyundai and AMC teamed up to create an app that allows fans to create their vision of the ultimate zombie survival vehicle. Then they picked the vehicle seen here, designed by Anson Kuo, from more than 86,800 fan submissions... and built it! According to Hyundai's press site, the heavily modified Hyundai Santa Fe crossover's "special" features include:
